Drama mama

As a member of Drama club, i am expected to be a part of this year's SYF ( a competition, island wide, specially for the performing arts )! SYF is an acronym for Singapore Youth Festival. I don't know whats wrong with us Singaporeans, we seem to love creating acronyms. You have the MRT, PIE, CIP, CCA, need i elaborate further? I mean, there's nothing wrong with it, but come on. Most of us don't even know what it stands for! Woah, sidetrack much. Anyways, I'm not very sure if i want to act in it this year.. Should i? I need the CCA points to get into a good school. Hmm. The script i got from my drama teacher is quite interesting! Its completely different from what we did 2 years ago which was about a tree and a girl... Or was it a boy? I'm not very sure. I didn't participate much.. The script was about this little boy named Benjamin. He was born with very little white blood cells and how his childhood was very different then others. It also shows how his parents were deeply affected and how he coped with his disease. Its a very touching script. Somehow i want to be a part of this performance.. But I'm not too sure if i can cope with my studying for O-levels and all. Hmm, I'll have to think this one through. But I'd very much love to be a part of this performance :)
