Liars suck

I really hate it when someone lies to me.
Okay wait, i actually don't mind it. Let me rephrase that. I really hate it when i catch someone lying to me. I mean if you want to lie to me, do it well. I feel really awkward when i catch someone lying to me. Dazed almost. Like what am i suppose to say? "Hey, weren't you supposed to be ___" Really? I don't know. Maybe it's just because i'm an awkward person.. I really hate these kinds of moments, don't you? Ugh it frustrates me!


There was this one time, not too long ago, where i was supposed to meet my friend at the library to study and we were texting before.


Me: Hey, i'm on my way, where are you?
Study buddy: (Replied in what feels like forever) Oh ems, i just got released from school... My mum needs me at home so i can't make it later, also i'm really tired and need the rest blah blah
Me: Really, well okay then. I'm already here so i'll just study by myself.


So two of her friends walk by me and exchanged guilty looks and rushed back to the main room.

Study buddy: (Replies almost instantaneously) You're here? I'm here too.. To look at more S.K's books. Where are you?
Me: (This is me, slightly annoyed as i saw her shadow from the bookshelves) I'm at my favourite poetry spot. I think i saw you.
Study buddy: Really? Ems, where are you? I can't find you.
Me: The third level at the end, where you and  your ex-boyfriend found me months ago. (Quite annoyed at this point really)
Study buddy: Oh, i'm already leaving the library. My mum's going crazy and she wants me home.

What the fuck, seriously? It got me so pissed off, i saw red and just dumped my phone in my bag and refused to reply. As you can probably tell, i handle these kinds of situations quite poorly. Sigh what am i to do?
